Situated at 20 kilometers north-east of Bucharest, in Buftea, Ilfov County, Domeniul Stirbey, owned by the famous Stirbey  Royal family, is a natural park, with an area of 24 hectares , forest and an artificial lake and must be included on the things to do in Bucharest list. Its natural (gingko, magnolia and cypresses, and oaks dating back 500 years) and historical monuments ( Stirbey Palace,and the Chapel), which are part of the national patrimony are one of the few attractions for a Bucharest tourist.

After a long and refreshing walk you can enjoy a good meal at the park restaurant.
