National Museum of Art

The National Museum of Art of Romania hosts three art galleries. The European Art Gallery, the Romanian Medieval Art Gallery and the Romanian Modern Art Gallery bring together art works exhibited in an attractive, modern manner, thus turning a visit to the museum into an enjoyable and instructive way of spending time.

Opening hours: Wednesday to Sunday
11:00  - 19:00 (May - September)
10:00 - 18:00  (October - April)

Closed: Monday, Tuesday, 1st and 2nd of January, the first and the second day of Easter, the first and the second day of Pentecost, 1 May, the 15th of August, 30 November, 1, 25 and 26 December

MUSEUM VISIT FEES

The Gallery of European Art: 8 lei/ticket

The National Gallery (the Gallery of Romanian Medieval Art, the Gallery of Romanian Modern Art and the Treasure): 10 lei/ticket

Combined tickets - The Gallery of European Art + the National Gallery (Treasure included): 15 lei/ticket

First Wednesday of the month: free

Students and retired citizens: 50% discount (with valid ID)

Holders of Euro 26 cards, aged up to 26 years: 50% discount (with valid ID)

The ticket is valid throughout the day. Visitors are kindly requested to keep the ticket for verification.
