Ninel/Virgil Scripcariu Proiect 1990

Walk in Bucharest and you will meet Virgil Scripcariu. The colourful Noah's Ark on Magheru Blvd., the bronze Maternity on Arthur Verona St. or the cat-sofa in IOR Park are public space interventions with perfectly balanced proportions, materials, chromatics and placements. Already assumed by the city landscape, fitting as born to be there since the public space itself was born to be looked at.

This time Virgil Scripcariu has created for Proiect 1990 Ninel, a satire illustrating post-communist social phenomenon.
