Alexandru Chira was a Romanian artist and art teacher for a generation that is now dedicating a show to their maestro.

Named “The Absence With Memory”, the show will bring together 15 of his students, now artists themselves, in an inspiring attempt to bring alive Alexandru Chira’s memory: Radu Popescu, Oana Popa, Corina Raiciu, Elena Petre, Adela Edu, Marinela Dumitrescu, Ilinca Oprea, Teofana Filip, Andreea Chibrian, Anca Bentu, Mircea Dragomirescu, Elena Gheorghe, Alexandru Serban, Elena Gheorghe, Fabiana Dima, Ilie Rusu.
